I am a 63-year-old woman, and up until seven and a half years ago I was a pack a day smoker. I smoked for 42 years. My health was suffering as a result of my habit and I was advised by my doctor to quit smoking or face the inevitable. I was extremely concerned as to how I was going to do this as I had tried many cessation methods in the past and none of them had worked.
In 2016 I was introduced to vaping as an alternative to smoking. I was not fully aware about
vaping although I knew it existed. After a bit of thought and research I decided to give it a try
but was sceptical due to previous failed attempts using methods as stated above. I decided
that I had nothing to lose by trying. This decision was the best decision I have ever made
regarding my health as it proved to be successful and I have been smoke free since.
