I am just an ordinary person who has smoked for 30 plus years and now vapes. I never found a successful product to stop smoking until I tried a vape. I am now smoke free and have never felt better. No more coughing and I can now do things I couldn’t as a smoker.
All thanks to vaping.
I purchased a refillable vape and bought my juice from a local vape shop as I am an adult and up until now had that right. It is not the Australian vape shops supplying to children but yet they are going to have their businesses destroyed and their lives turned upside down by these changes. They have, up until now, been doing everything by the law and helping many smokers quit. I just don’t see how putting thousands of people out of work, closing the entire Australian vape industry and forcing people to either go back to cigarettes or buy black market products is going to be a good outcome.
I have done nothing wrong as a vaper. Always respectful of the laws of where to vape. My
vape is not disposable so does not cause excess rubbish. It is now 2 years old and still
going strong, well while i can get the coils that is. The pharmaceutical model is not financially viable for me. I’m sure it will be the same for others as well. I gave up smoking because it got too expensive as one of the reasons and for my health. I do not wish to have a tobacco flavoured vape as I find tobacco smell and taste horrible now. Mint is also not the nice. I prefer to have a nicer taste to a vape. After all we are trying to stay smoke free.
Vaping is working fine in New Zealand and England.
Just need to check ID and not sell to children under 18.
Same rules and regulations as alcohol and cigarettes.
Vapers should have the right of choice too.
