My wife is aged 63 and I am aged 64. We smoked cigarettes for 40 years and we transitioned to vaping, for harm reduction purposes, 7 years ago.
The Vaping Reforms will have a massive cost of living impact on my wife and I, and the hundreds of thousands of Australians who vape.
We believe that pharmacy derived nicotine maintenance products will become far more expensive for us.
The Vaping Reforms legislation will undoubtedly lead to hundreds of thousands of Australian vapers being financially penalised.
As adult ex-smokers, who have transitioned to vaping for health reasons, we believe the Vaping Reforms will, in effect, discriminate against us, and, that we are going to treated as second-class citizens.
We believe that the proposed Vaping Reforms are draconian and punitive, will heavily
impact hundreds of thousands of adult Australian vapers, who are almost exclusively ex-smokers.
